The Mediobanca Group’s ownership structure has changed significantly since 2003, in line with the transformation of its business model from that of holding company to a specialist financial group.
The Consultation Agreement, entered into at year-end 2018, with no provision made for rights of veto, was wound up on 8 September 2025.
In September 2025, after the public acquisition and exchange offer launched by MPS for Mediobanca was completed successfully, the Mediobanca Group became part of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. group.
