Promoting culture, incentivising innovation and investing in research is for us a way of supporting the local community and the area in which we are an integral part.
Our group’s commitment in this area is proof of the awareness of corporate responsibility, also from a civil and social perspective, in the name of a role that is not fulfilled solely for economic purposes.
From the early years of existence, we have committed to disseminating and promoting our cultural, architectural and documentary heritage.
No less important is the attention to scientific and economic research which represents a core component of the group.
Area Studi Mediobanca – ASM (Mediobanca – ASM Studies Area)
Our most important project in the economic research area, the studies centre is specialised in economic-financial analysis and research. It shares useful industry publications and reports, completely free of charge, to both the scientific and professional community and to the non-specialist public.

Through its Foundation, RAM Active Investments supports a number of institutions dedicated to medical and scientific research, including the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association, the CANSEARCH Foundation (paediatric onco-haematology), and the ARTC - Association pour la Recherche sur les Tumeurs Cérébrales (research into brain tumours).
IEO (European Institute of Oncology)
We are the founders and leading shareholder of the main private cancer centre in Italy which combines clinical and research activities. The IEO-CCM Foundation, which supports the research carried out by the Istituto Europeo di Oncologia and the Centro Cardiologico Monzino directly, has raised over €50m to support research from 2000 to the present date.
