We have engaged the entire corporate population in numerous initiatives to increase their awareness of ESG issues. All employees of Mediobanca and the largest subsidiaries have taken part in a course on sustainability and ESG factors, to provide an overview of the regulatory framework, the main market trends in sustainable products, and the Bank’s strategic positioning on ESG topics. The mandatory “Sustainability and Human Rights” training course also ensures that the awareness of all staff is raised at least once on the risk of breaches of human rights, including potential indirect consequences due to relations with clients and suppliers.
In the People & Culture area, we have promoted awareness-raising and developmental initiatives with a particular focus on diversity & inclusion issues, leadership and team management, for management staff in particular.
