Unicredit CASHES bond subscription

With reference to subscriptions for the UniCredit CASHES bonds, Mediobanca hereby gives notice that execution of the transaction is fully confirmed in the original amount of euro 3bn. Indeed, on 8 February 2009 Mediobanca received commitments from institutional investors to subscribe for the Cashes replacing those not taken up by Fondazione Cariverona.
