New edition of R&S's survey of multinationals (2003-2013), with a focus on automotive

This is the nineteenth edition of R&S's annual statistical survey of major multinational companies. It covers 383 large enterprises, 329 of which are industrial companies in the manufacturing and energy sectors, 29 are telecommunications businesses and 25 are utilities active on an international scale. Their aggregate turnover in 2012 was EUR 12,369bn, including EUR 10,625bn in manufactured products, EUR 986bn in telecoms and EUR 758bn in public utilities, and their assets (excluding intangibles) totalled EUR 13,832bn. Together they employ 32,2 million people. The automotive industry is the third largest world market for multinationals’ revenues and the largest share belongs to Japan, followed by Germany.  www.mbres.it
