At a meeting held today, the Appointments Committee of Mediobanca approved the following list of 19 proposed members of the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali: Cesare Geronzi. Vincent Bolloré. Alberto Nagel. Giovanni Perissinotto. Sergio Balbinot, Ana Patricia Botin, Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, Diego Della Valle, Leonardo Del Vecchio, Petr Kellner. Angelo Miglietta, Alessandro Pedersoli, Lorenzo Pellicioli. Reinfried Pohl, Paolo Scaroni. Francesco Saverio Vinci. Giovanni Crostarosa Guicciardi, Mario Ragusa and Ugo Rock.
In the event of Mr Geronzi possibly being appointed as Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali. the Appointments Committee also adopted a resolution proposing that the current General Manager Renato Pagliaro be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca.
