CheBanca!: FAs network project officially launched, with the recruitment of Duccio Marconi

Work on the activities provided for the Mediobanca Group’s retail bank in its business plan continues, with further acceleration in the area of investments and asset management

Milan, 15 September 2017 – Duccio Marconi has been appointed Central Manager (FAs) of CheBanca!. He joins the group headed up by Chief Executive Officer Gian Luca Sichel with the brief of giving impetus to the FAs network project.

The addition of Marconi fits with the broader growth path pursued by CheBanca!, which in line with the Mediobanca Group’s strategic plan is targeting development in the affluent segment, with the objective of becoming the bank of choice for its clients in investment and asset management.

Currently the FAs network numbers around a hundred advisors, most of whom joined the group as a result of the Barclays’ acquisition, but the objective is ambitious: to add 100 new advisors per annum.

With twenty years’ experience working in the financial advisory sector, Duccio Marconi joins CheBanca! from Credem where he has spent the majority of his career, taking on roles of increasing responsibility, most recently (since 2010) that of Commercial Director for the FAs network.
