Il Sole 24 ORE: greenshoe option exercised

With reference to the Global Offering of Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. special shares, notice is hereby given that on January 4 2008, the Joint Global Coordinators, Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. and UBS Limited have exercised the Over-Allotment Option involving 1,355,904 special shares. The acquisition price for special shares covered by the Over-Allotment option was € 5,75 per share, equal to that provided for under the terms of the Global Offering, for a total of approx € 7.8 m. Transfer and payment of the special shares will take place on January 9, 2008. Accordingly, the Global Offering including the Over-Allotment option involved a total of 36,447,394 Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. special shares, equal to 27.3% of the company’s share capital, for a total worth of € 209.6 m.
