Assicurazioni Generali: list of candidates filed for appointment to Board of Directors

Mediobanca today has submitted a list of thirteen candidates for appointment to the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., on the agenda for the Annual General Meeting scheduled to take place on 30 April and on 3 and 7 May 2019.

The list reflects the recommendations made by the current Board in February, as expressed in its Guidance opinion for shareholders on size and composition of the Board of Directors for the three-year period 2019-21, including the issue of continuity with a view to implementing the new strategic plan approved by the Board in November 2018. The list is as follows: Gabriele Galateri di Genola, Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, Clemente Rebecchini, Philippe Donnet, Romolo Bardin, Lorenzo Pellicioli, Sabrina Pucci, Alberta Figari, Diva Moriani, Paolo Di Benedetto, Antonella Mei-Pochtler, Maurizio Dattilo and Barbara Negri.

Mediobanca wishes to place on record its thanks to Ornella Barra, who can’t stand for reappointment due to her growing managerial commitments at Walgreens Boots Alliance, for her valuable contribution and the unceasing commitment she has put in as member of the Board of Assicurazioni Generali over these years.
