R&S presents its survey of major International Banks

The Mediobanca Research Area has today presented its annual survey of major international banks.

The survey analyses the results of 67 leading international banking groups, 28 of which are based in Europe, 15 in Japan and 14 in the United States. Ten of the leading Chinese banks are also covered.

Indepth analysis is included on subjects such as comparison between the performances of the European and US banks, and on the German Landesbanken (2008-17).

The survey also looks at the question of bad debts, and the positioning of Italian banks relative to the rest of Europe.

An excursus on 1Q 2018 is included, to pinpoint the most recent trends.
