Mediobanca Research voted "Best Broker" in Italy by Extel for the 12th year running

Extel (previously known as Institutional Investor) has voted Mediobanca Research as “Best Broker in Italy” for 2026, the twelfth year in a row it has won this title. The rankings assigned by clients and investors saw Mediobanca leading the way in three different businesses: Research (including the Small & Mid Cap categories), Equity Sales and Corporate Access.

Mediobanca Research has thus confirmed its position as a benchmark for the financial community, on the back of the quality and capabilities of its team. There were also various individual recognitions:

•    Andrea Filtri and Javier Suárez were voted second and third respectively in the “Italy Overall Research” category. Andrea Balloni and Fabio Pavan also received mentions in the same category.
•    Alessandro Tortora was voted first in the “Italy Small & Mid Cap Research” category, with Andrea Filtri in third place. Fabio Pavan, Andrea Balloni, Isacco Brambilla, Gianluca Ferrari and Javier Suárez also received mentions in the same category.
•    Bertrand Tissier was again ranked first in the “Italy Sales” category, with Federico Bellantoni in third place.

The Extel Developed Europe Research Team Local Broker Survey for Italy  is compiled each year by carrying out a survey of over 2,000 international investors to score and rank broking houses, and is a vital guide for companies and investors looking to leverage the best investment opportunities available.
