Mediobanca completes placement of senior tranche of Quarzo securitization of consumer credit receivables originated by Compass. €650 million raised
Mediobanca has completed the placement of the senior tranche of Quarzo securitization of consumer credit receivables originated by Compass. The issue raised a total amount of €650m, above the initial target set, confirming strong investor interest.
The senior tranche was placed at a spread of 73 basis points over Euribor 3M, despite the high number of deals on the ABS primary market. The pricing at best-in-class levels among Italian consumer credit operators confirms the quality of the underlying credit, the solidity of the performance delivered by the Compass portfolio, and the Bank's consolidated relations with the community of investors.
The deal is the second Quarzo securitization placed on the market in 2026. For the first time since the programme was launched, Mediobanca has completed two public deals in the same year, raising a total of €1.5bn.
The result reflects the Bank’s capability in accessing capital markets continuously and efficiently, helped by its established relations with international investors and its effective structuring activity.
