The Italian Wine Sector
The Mediobanca Research Area publishes its survey on the Italian wine sector, covering 255 leading Italian joint-stock companies with 2024 revenues exceeding €20 million and aggregate turnover of €12 billion, half of which generated abroad. The study includes a territorial analysis, as well as a focus on the main M&A transactions and governance-related issues.
The report also features a contribution prepared by the Qualivita Foundation, providing an in-depth analysis of the PDO-PGI wine segment.
The key findings were discussed during an event attended by leading figures from the Italian wine sector.
