Alessandro Melzi d’Eril has been Chief Executive Officer of Mediobanca since 28 October 2025. Previously he was CEO of the Anima Group, one of the leading wealth management groups in Italy, after joining in January 2011 as CFO, a position he held until 2017, after which he served as General Manager until 2020. Between 2004 and 2011 he was Investment Director at Clessidra, one of the leading private equity funds in Italy. He began his career working for the Corporate Finance, M&A and ECM teams of Unicredit Banca Mobiliare (2002-4) and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (2000-02). He has a degree in Economics and Political Science from the Bocconi University in Milan.
