Jessica Spina began her career in 1992 working as a financial analyst covering the Italian banking sector. She joined Mediobanca in 1998, working as part of the M&A FIG team, working on the leading bank privatizations in course at the time. From the start of her time in Mediobanca she has worked on strategic planning and developing strategic plans for the Group.

Jessica Spina launched the Group's Investor Relations activity in 2004, gradually expanding her area of responsibility to include relations with institutional investors (equity, debt, ESG), ratings agencies (credit, ESG), proxy advisors, and institutional financial communication.

She has been Chief Strategy Officer since October 2011.
